Albert Adomah, Walsall's fan-favourite with an insatiable competitive streak
Walsall favourite Albert Adomah continues to drink from a fountain of youth at the age of 37.
Adomah is an affable, larger than life character, which to the outsider could sometimes be mistaken for somewhat of a novelty act.
Yet amid the dancing, laughter and smiles, remains a burning desire, which still rages as strong as ever, to succeed.
His loveable personality dovetails so harmoniously with his tenacious and indefatigable style, which also still has room for the odd moment of magic.
The joy of football has clearly never left him. He still plays as he once did as a child on the fields of London, with Loftus Road peering as a distant dream in the backdrop.
Over 700 appearances, 101 professional club goals, 19 international caps for Ghana and two promotions to the Premier League later, and Adomah still has a prophecy to achieve more in the twilight years of a dazzling career.
