'Big move': What is the Ryan Mason change that could help West Brom avoid Middlesbrough scenario
The first mini bump of the Ryan Mason era at Albion has arrived - as Albion suffered their second successive defeat at Middlesbrough on Friday.
An unhappy hunting ground for Albion for quite some time - Mason's side left themselves with far too much to do after conceding two sloppy goals before Aune Heggebo bagged a late consolation goal.
It was great to see Heggebo get on the scoresheet - a rare positive on a night that saw Albion have plenty of the ball but do very little with it.
The jury was out on the team selection before the game - and after the game fan debate raged over whether Mason got it wrong, and what he could do better or differently.
That is the case after the defeat - it is common place and it is true, the game and the manner of it threw up some interesting talking and selection points.
