Alex Mowatt makes 'different' Hawthorns claim as West Brom midfielder looks for more of the same
It has been noted this season that there has been a marked improvement in the atmosphere at The Hawthorns.
In Albion's two home games so far this season - the atmosphere has been much improved from recent seasons.
It has been noticed by supporters and reporters - with the ground's atmosphere having been subdued in recent seasons.
Much of the change can arguably be put down to success on the pitch - however the installation of safe standing in two parts of the ground have played their part.
Installed in one corner of the ground, along with in the Smethwick End - many believe that has had a positive impact on the atmosphere.
And it hasn't just been noticed by fans. The players have also clocked on.
Speaking ahead of Albion's game with Derby, Alex Mowatt said there has been a big difference around The Hawthorns this year.
He explained: "Even though we've only won once at home this season, The Hawthorns has had a bit more of a bounce to it.
"It helps we've started well, but there has been a different atmosphere here and we want that to be a theme going forwards.
"To do that, we know we've got to put in the performances and hard work which we know the fans appreciate."
