A West Brom possession headache, Molumby, MJ and front two: West Brom talking points after Derby defeat
Ryan Mason would have been scratching his head trying to work out how his side came away from their clash with Derby empty handed.
Albion had the chances in the game and more of the possession - and for much of the game Albion looked like the only side who looked like winning the game.
However former Baggies forward Andi Weimann struck five minutes from time and it was enough to give Derby the spoils.
The game threw up a number of talking points and Jonny Drury looks at a few of them:
They did enough - but more possession doesn't seem to work
Make no mistake about it, Albion should not have lost that game. They did enough to avoid defeat.
For me they did enough to win it. Isaac Price in the first half, Jayson Molumby with two second have strikes, Alex Mowatt cleared an effort from his own play off the Derby line - and there were other openings.
They didn't find the net and Derby did and football is a simple game in that respect.
On other observation is that this is the second home game in a row where Albion have played well, decent enough, and dominated possession.
But, they have come away with just one point from the two games.
They pressed and probed against Derby, and should have really found a goal, but they didn't.
However, if you take a game like Stoke City, where they played on the break and had more clear cut openings, you could argue that Albion look sharper and more potent playing in that way.
