Walsall will welcome Chesterfield to Bescot tomorrow fresh off the back of successive 1-0 victories over Salford City and MK Dons respectively in League Two.

Sadler has seemingly struck a balance with his 'starters and finishers' approach, with the likes of Courtney Clarke, Ryan Finnigan and Albert Adomah having a strong influence off the bench in recent weeks.

The Saddlers had a strong success rate from the bench in the early stages of last season, with Jack Earing and George Hall picking up the baton in midfield, and Danny Johnson offering a goal scoring threat.

Blackpool loanee Ryan Finnigan has impressed on his two cameos from the bench for Walsall.
Blackpool loanee Ryan Finnigan, who has impressed off the bench in the league, scored on his first Walsall start in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday.

"What I've been particularly impressed with is the impact from the bench, especially in the first six games," Sadler said.
