Walsall pair confirmed as injury doubts ahead of Chesterfield clash
Walsall duo Priestley Farquharson and Jamie Jellis are both injury doubts ahead of their home fixture against Chesterfield in League Two on Saturday.
Farquharson, who has been plagued by injury problems since joining Walsall in 2023, hobbled off just before half-time in their 3-1 win at Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.
The defender was not willing to take any risks on his groin issue and will undergo a scan on Friday.
That has cast him as a major doubt for the Chesterfield game but Sadler does not anticipate it to be a serious setback.
"Priestley will have a scan tomorrow," boss Sadler revealed.
