Thousands of supporters attended the ground on Wednesday for the official anniversary - and were treated to tours and a 125 photograph exhibition charting the club's history at The Hawthorns.

And when Albion return to Championship action next Saturday - a whole host of other events are planned to celebrate the big anniversary.

The club has confirmed what will happen on the special day on September 13 - as Albion welcome Derby County for the first game after the international break.

Here is a full breakdown of what will take place

- Albion's players will wear shirts which will say '125 years at The Hawthorns' along with details of the game. They will be signed and then go up for auction in aid of the Albion Foundation.

- The famous Woodman Corner scoreboard is to be installed in the ground for one game only. The screen in that corner of The Hawthorns will provide scores from up and down the country. There will also be a special 100 page programme on sale.

- One of the biggest moments of the day will involve the club's greatest ever player - and the man who has walked out at The Hawthorns more than anyone else. Tony 'Bomber' Brown will be front and centre as he presents the matchball prior to the game.

- Much like in 1900 when the first ever game took place - a brass band will provide pre-match entertainment around the ground. They will also be playing when the players enter the field to the sound of 'The Stars and Stripes Forever'.

- All fans will be given a commemorative flag prior to the game to wave as the players walk out.

- The fan zone off Halfords Lane will be Victorian themed, with jugglers, facepainters and other activities.
