Jeremy Sarmiento is no stranger to a loan move - with his first having come at West Brom.

The Spanish born Brighton winger came to Albion back in 2023 - one of only a handful of signings the club made that summer.

His tricks and skills stood out to Albion fans - and he did net two goals including a stunning winner against Cardiff City.

But his spell at The Hawthorns will be largely forgotten by Albion fans - with his time hampered with injuries.

And in January he was recalled and immediately sent out on loan again, this time to Ipswich Town.

Despite his forgettable Albion experience - he did have back to back successful loan moves.

He helped Ipswich to win promotion to the Premier League - and last season he did the same with Burnley has he featured over 30 times for Scott Parker's team.

Sarmiento returned to Brighton this summer - and has made a late deadline day move, his fourth loan move in three seasons.

This time he has signed for Serie A new boys Cremonese, who were promoted to the Italian top flight via the play-offs last season.

But he is not the only familiar face from English football to make the move to the newly promoted side.

Sarmiento will link up with Premier League winner and Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy. The striker, who helped the Foxes to their famous title victory - was out of contract this summer and linked to a host of clubs.

One of those was Carlos Corberan's Valencia - as well as reported links to Wrexham, Inter Miami and Premier League clubs.
