'Best of both worlds' - Walsall's Jake Hollman and his friend target success in England
"It might seem like a long distance by English standards but it's only a stone's throw in Australia."
Jake Hollman's world has changed drastically this summer. Uprooting over 10,000 miles from his home in New South Wales, the Australian midfielder is attempting to navigate the jungle of English football.
Fortunately, the 25-year-old does have a familiar face in the country, and perhaps more importantly a reference point in the form of close friend Kealey Adamson.
Like Hollman, right-back Adamson made the switch to England from Macarthur FC, joining Championship side Queens Park Rangers earlier this summer.

The pair are going through this experience together and cheering one another on to succeed on the other side of the world.
"We just bonded straightaway. We had that connection and funnily enough our girlfriends are also best friends. So we've spent a lot of dinners and a lot of time together," Adamson said.
"We've been in daily contact and it's nice to have someone in the same time zone. If I get bored sitting around the house then I can give him a call.
