Popular Hawthorns staple in years gone by set to return with West Brom fans able to win up to £1k
In years gone by you couldn't walk near The Hawthorns on a matchday without seeing someone selling 'Baggies Bonanza' tickets.
The matchday prize draw saw tickets sold to fans around The Hawthorns - as they looked to couple their Saturday afternoons with a bit of a bonus.
In more recent years it is not something that has taken place around the ground - until now.
The Baggies Bonanza is making a returning in aid of the Albion Foundation.
The foundation has confirmed that the matchday lottery is returning to raise money for the club's charity partner - and will be host at every SkyBet Championship home game.
Tickets can be purchased online or from sellers outside the ground - and you can be in with a chance of winning a grand cash prize.
The grand prize will be split between the winner and the foundation - which carries out award winning community work in the Sandwell Borough.
Jonathan Ward, deputy director at the foundation, said: “We’re delighted to be relaunching the popular matchday lottery at The Hawthorns. We know that Albion fans are aware and appreciative of our work in the community and hope they’ll enjoy this exciting draw at each home match.
“We urge supporters to enter to try and win themselves a prize, but also to support the Foundation and our efforts in the Sandwell Borough.”
