'Incredible' Mat Sadler hails Connor Barrett's strong early season form for Walsall
Mat Sadler feels Connor Barrett has comeback stronger in his second season with Walsall in League Two.
The 23-year-old, who arrived from non-league AFC Fylde in 2024, registered 10 assists during his debut campaign in the Football League last term.
Barrett was named in the League Two team of the season but struggled for form during the second half of the season.
He has hit the ground running this term - scoring his first goal in a 2-1 win over Swindon Town and the opener in the 2-1 success at Barnet on Saturday.
