On the on the back of the opening day success at Blackburn - Isaac Price scored twice and Jed Wallace netted from the bench to to earn Albion the points.

Jonny Drury looks at three things you may have missed from the game:

Back up Bielik

Two of Albion's new signings appeared with Toby Collyer and Krystian Bielik named in the squad following his arrival.

Bielik is an interesting one. Having been a key figure at Birmingham in recent years, his arrival came as a bit of a shock for some. More for the fact Blues let him go rather than Albion bringing in a central defender.

As a regular starter in recent years, would he come straight in? The answer was no, with George Campbell deservedly put in alongside Nat Phillips.

You have to say that will probably be the main central defensive pairing going forward and Bielik is very much the back up.

However, given his quality, he will certainly be pushing for a starting place that is for sure. He may face a task though as Campbell impressed again alongside Phillips.

Boo boys for the ex-Baggie

James McClean was named in the Wrexham side, with the former Albion man handed a call up to the XI after coming off the bench against Southampton last week.

A pantomime villain across football - McClean gets rough receptions from pretty much any side he turns out against.

But given the fact he played a decent number of games for Albion - how would he be greeted by the Baggies.

That's right, with boos! Although, I am sure most of it was in jest. He almost had the chance to silence them early in the game as he went close to an equaliser.

'Deadpool, give us a wave'

First Wrexham home game of the season and all the talk was around the Hollywood story, their promotion and all the rest of it. Oh and there hugely famous Hollywood owner.

Ryan Reynolds' appearance at the ground was obvious given the magnitude of the game (and the fact they were playing Albion) - and he was handed a warm and a derogatory welcome by the Baggies fans.

Chants of 'Deadpool give us a way', were soon followed by something a bit stronger.
