Vitor Pereira opts for Wolves leadership group amid captain vacancy
Vitor Pereira has confirmed Toti Gomes, Jose Sa, Joao Gomes and Matt Doherty will be the new Wolves leadership group this season.
The Wolves boss has had the summer to ponder over the role of captaincy in the wake of Nelson Semedo's departure.
Toti Gomes has worn the armband the most during pre-season and is favourite to lead the team out for their Premier League opener against Manchester City at Molineux on Saturday.
But Pereira has opted for a collective approach in terms of the leadership of his squad and feels that will provide him with the support he needs both on and off the pitch.
"I will decide the four captains and I believe they can help us inside and outside the pitch," Pereira revealed.
