The former playmaker, who lit up the Championship during a loan spell for Albion before an £18m permanent move in 2020 - was released following the conclusion of his five year contract.

Diangana, who turned out 202 times for Albion across his six years at the club - has reportedly not been short of potential suitors throughout the summer.

Earlier in the window, he was linked with clubs in the Championship, while there were reports claiming that former Baggies boss Carlos Corberan was interested in taking the playmaker to Valencia.

And there was also reported interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League - and according to new claims that looks to be Diangana's most likely destination.

On Thursday, it was reported that Diangana is closing in on a move to Damac FC - after the club made him a 'lucrative offer'.

The claims stated that the player is 'considering the opportunity'.
