The 21-year-old will fight on the undercard of Dave Allen’s heavyweight showdown with Arslanbek Makhmudov at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena on Saturday, October 11.

Though an opponent is yet to be confirmed, it is likely a title will be on the line for the first time in Uddin’s professional career.

Uddin, who won eight national titles as an amateur, will be aiming to extend a perfect record in the professional ranks having picked up the fifth win of his career with June’s impressive seventh round stoppage of Leandro Jose Blanc.

That display, which earned praise from promoter Eddie Hearn, left Uddin hopeful of landing a title shot in the near future and he is confident the October bout will be his biggest fight yet.
