Clean sheet - Forced into an early diving save by Jamie Donley as he kept a clean sheet across the 90, before saving a penalty from Divin Mubama during the shoot-out.

Harrison Burke - 7

Steady - Anticipated a number of Stoke passes between the lines on his Walsall debut as he helped his side keep Stoke at bay.

Priestley Farquharson - 7

Strong - Commanded the defence really well on his first competitive start in just under a year and dealt with a number of long balls into Stoke attacker Robert Bozenik.
