Warrington, who joined on a two-year deal from Leyton Orient earlier this month, made his Walsall debut from the bench in a 2-1 win over Swindon Town in the opening fixture.

The 22-year-old was handed his full debut as Walsall slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium on Saturday.

But Sadler feels Walsall are a great fit for the former Everton youngster, who comes with plenty of experience despite his age.

Sadler said: "I spoke to loads of people about Lewis. In terms of his early footballing career, he fits the mould perfectly in my opinion.
