West Brom pair handed key shirt numbers but one position remains untaken

It may not mean a lot to some people - but for others who want their favourite player and number on the back of their shirts, it is important information.

And Albion have now released theirs on the eve of the new campaign with a few notable changes.

The first part of the list to stick out is no number one shirt taken - with Josh Griffiths retaining his shirt number rather than being handed number one.

Number five remains empty - while George Campbell has been handed the shirt vacated by Kyle Bartley following his retirement.

Elsewhere, Nat Phillips now takes on the number three, while the two big number changes involve Karlan Grant and Mikey Johnston.

Grant has been handed the number ten shirt, vacated by the departed John Swift.

While Mikey Johnston steps into the shirt worn by Grady Diangana has he has been handed eleven.

Elsewhere, the only big one is Aune Heggebo who will wear the number 19 shirt.
