Target included in Ryan Mason's first West Brom side as £4.7m handed competitive bow
Ryan Mason has named his starting line-up for his competitive bow in the West Brom dugout.
Mason has been preparing to kick off the campaign against Blackburn Rovers - as he looks to start his Albion reign with a victory.
And his team selection has thrown up little surprise - as Albion welcome Valerien Ismael's side to The Hawthorns.
Torbjorn Heggem has been subject of speculation amid a reported £10m bid from Bologna.
However, despite the fact a deal may still go through he starts against the Ewood Park men alongside Nat Phillips at the heart of defence, with the ex-Liverpool man also given his competitive debut.
He is one of two debuts in the side - as £4.7m signing Aune Heggebo leads the line for Albion with Isaac Price expected to play just in behind the forward.
In other news, Josh Maja does make the bench and could play a part after a brief pre-season cameo - while academy youngster Cole Deeming is named among the substitutes.
