Who are the nine youngsters to appear in West Brom pre-season squads and what are their first team chances
Ryan Mason has been running the rule over his players and new signings over the course of pre-season.
Mason has had a number of weeks to work out who he fancies, where he needs to strengthen and to assess his three new additions.
But he has also handed minutes to a number of young talents across the course of pre-season games.
Albion's academy graduates have appeared against Port Vale, Dynamo Kyiv, Blackpool and Lincoln - while some could have appeared in last week's behind closed doors friendly against Fulham.
Some will have impressed more than others - and will potentially be looking to stake a claim for a squad place ahead of the new campaign.
Here is a run down of the youngsters used across the course of pre-season:
Harry Whitwell
The midfielder is probably the one who has the biggest chance of making squads this season.
He was handed his debut late last season by interim boss James Morrison - and started the opening pre-season outing with Port Vale.
He was a late substitute against Blackpool, but aside from that he hasn't featured.
Whitwell is a top talent who is highly regarded and has been tipped for a possible loan move in the past. If he doesn't go this summer, he could be a squad option for Mason.
Kevin Mfuamba
The England youth international midfielder has also enjoyed game time over the course of pre-season.
Like Whitwell, he started the Port Vale clash and has followed that up with substitute appearances against Kyiv and Blackpool.
Mo Diomande
The defender who joined Albion from Wolves came on as a second half substitute against Kyiv and Blackpool, and looked pretty assured.
Given Albion's signings at the back this summer, it is unlikely he could make a break into the squad in the near future.

Jamal Mohammed
Last season represented a big one for the towering defender, coming off the back of a big injury.
He was named on the bench for two games in the final part of the campaign - with Albion short on defensive options.
It will have been a slightly disappointing pre-season for Mohammed, as he has failed to appeared in the friendlies where the line-ups have been made public.
But he has been around it for a while now, having appeared in a friendly under Steve Bruce when Albion faced Salford City.
The midfielder, who was handed his professional bow early last season in the League Cup last season.
He has been a key player in the PL2 side - but despite being in squads this pre-season hasn't featured on the pitch.
Ollie Bostock
Alongside Whitwell as ones who have the biggest chance of breaking though.
Netted a belter in the behind closed doors friendly with with Port Vale - and came off the bench against Kyiv.
Alex Williams
The young defender was one of the youngsters involved throughout pre-season and in squads.
The right back came on for Darnell Furlong against Kyiv - and has been an unused substitute in games, including against Lincoln on Saturday
Ben Cisse
With the departure of Ted Cann in the summer, it looks like the young shot-stopper is now the third in line at The Hawthorns.
He was named on the bench against Kyiv, in the absence of Josh Griffiths, but didn't get on.
Joe Wallis
The New Zealander is another highly rated keeper who made the trip to Austria - and was named on the bench alongside Cisse.
