Championship top goalscorer: West Brom striker odds ahead of new campaign
West Brom head into the new campaign with three senior strikers all vying for a starting spot.
With the addition of Aune Heggebo and the return of Josh Maja from an injury last season - Albion are looking in a strong position at the top end of the field.
Maja returned to pre-season action last week, while Daryl Dike was left out as a precaution.
Heggebo now has a couple of pre-season outings under his belt, with Ryan Mason now facing a decision ahead of his first competitive match in charge of Albion on August 9.
Heading into the new season, bookmakers have released their odds on who will be the Championship's top marksman over the course of the campaign - and the odds on Albion strikers have thrown up a slight surprise.
Of the Albion forwards, Dike has been given the shortest odds of 40/1 to be the league's top goalscorer come the end of the season.
Heggebo is out at 50/1 and surprisingly alongside Maja, who is also 50/1.
It was a strange campaign for Maja last season, who bagged ten goals in his opening 16 Championship games.
He had bagged seven in his first seven outings, and looked to be well on the way to winning the Golden Boot before his goalscoring form dipped and he was then ruled out through injury.
Mason will be hoping Maja can hit his straps and find his early season form again this season.
Elsewhere, Southampton's Cameron Archer has been handed the shortest odds of 8/1, with Birmingham City's Jay Stansfield second favourite to land the golden boot.
