Levi Amantchi has started just once for Rochdale since joining them on loan from Walsall.

The 24-year-old arrived at the Saddlers in January from Bromley, having helped his former club to promotion from the National League.

He turned out 21 times in all competitions for Mat Sadler's side, netting four goals in the process, including in the play-off win over Chesterfield.

Now he has signed for Dale until January and the striker said: "I spoke to the gaffer about what his plans and goals are for the club and I’m a player that he’s kept an eye on.

“In training the lads have welcomed me in nicely and I can’t wait to get going.

“I want to put in the work and show everyone what I can do.”
