Through predictions, supercomputers and odds, many are looking at who will go up and who could be the surprise package of the campaign.

Odds for promotion and relegation come out early in the summer - but as the transfer window evolves and clubs strengthen, odds can change.

And that is exactly what has happened in Albion's case, despite some decent transfer business so far.

Prior to Ryan Mason's arrival and any transfer activity going on, Albion were predicted to finish eighth, just outside of the play-offs.

But despite the three additions and the arrival of Mason, that has changed now with Albion tipped by many bookies to finish ninth.

A lot of that is now owing to Albion, but to some of the business done by others in the window.

Those with the shortest odds for promotion remain virtually the same, with Ipswich and Southampton both favourites.

Sheffield United are third favourites, and after a big summer of business where they have become one of the league's biggest spenders, Birmingham City are as low as 2/1 to make it back to back promotions.

After some smart business, Coventry are now in as fifth favourites at 9/2 along with Leicester City, who have finally appointed a new manager in the form of Marti Cifuentes.

Middlesbrough are 5/1 to go up, while Norwich City have climbed up to a predicted position of eighth.

And then comes Albion who are now 6/1 to go up - and as big as 20/1 to win the title.
