Midfielder previously linked with West Brom switch now set to be latest big signing for Championship new boys
A number of names have been repeatedly linked with moves to West Brom over recent transfer windows.
And one of them is former Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O'Brien.
Over the course of a number of transfer windows - Albion were linked with the midfielder who went on to play for Nottingham Forest.
Many of the links to the midfielder were owing to former boss Carlos Corberan - who worked with O'Brien during his time managing the Terriers.
A move to Albion never materialised and O'Brien went out on a host of loan moves, including to the MLS.
He also spent time with Middlesbrough and Swansea City.
O'Brien remains under contract with Premier League Forest for another season - but he looks set to depart this summer.
And according to reports, he is set to become the latest signing at one of the Championship news boys and one of Albion's rivals Wrexham.
They are set to beat off competition from Swansea - who have been linked with bringing him back to South Wales.
But he looks set to be the latest addition for the North Wales outfit - who have already signing Danny Ward, Plymouth's Ryan Hardie, Liberato Cacace, George Thomason and striker Josh Windass.
