The West Brom young star plucked by Liverpool at 14 who turned out in Sky Sports hit Baller League

Jerome Sinclair was a standout talent when rising through the West Brom academy ranks.

So much so that he never got anywhere near the first team set up or youth teams - as he was plucked from Albion at the age of just 14.

Highly rated and sought after, he signed for the Reds and then continued to climb the ladder through the youth system before being handed his Liverpool bow, ironically against Albion in a League Cup clash.

In and around the first team under Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp - Sinclair never went on to fulfil his potential while at Anfield.

He departed for Watford, who had to pay a hefty development fee, but then again in the Championship he would make just a handful of appearances.

Loan spells at Birmingham, Sunderland, Oxford, VVV Venlo and CSKA Sofia followed.

And then at the age of 26, after a failed trial at Oxford, the former England youth international fell out of the game all together.

He switched his focus to business, and it was reported in 2023 that he had become the owner of a Birmingham branch of friend chicken shop chain Morley's.

He seemingly drifted out of football without fulfilling the hype that was around him during those Liverpool days.

But recently football fans may have noticed that he made somewhat of a comeback.

Sinclair, alongside a host of other ex-professionals, as well as non-league footballers, were recruited for the new Sky Sports Baller League.

The competition, which took place earlier this summer, saw players paid a reported £400 a game to turn out in six a side indoor games, televised live on Sky.

Sinclair turned out for VZNFC, in the league, which was originally created in Germany and came to London for its first series this year.

It is an 'influencer' led league, which sees ex-professionals, futsal players and celebrities face one another in 12 games to win the Baller League.

And Sinclair made a bit of an impression, netting twice in seven games across the competition.

Sinclair wasn't the only former Baggie in action, with ex-loanee Bakary Sako also taking part in the league.
