How does West Brom's spending rank as Championship clubs close in on £90m mark
West Brom's transfer spending has caught the eye in the window - as the Baggies have shelled out money on all three new signings.
Albion have spent just over £7m so far in the window on new signings - with Aune Heggebo topping the list with his £4.7m addition from Norwegian side Brann.
It has been a fruitful window for Albion in terms of spending - with the club yet to bring in a free agent or a loan signing.
As has been the case with other sides, there has been plenty of business going on but how does Albion's spending rank compared to others.
In the overall list, Albion currently sit fifth in the highest spenders of the summer so far.
Norwich City are top of the list, having spent £13.1m while having offset that and more with £24m worth of sales.
Relegated sides Southampton and Ipswich Town have both spend £9.9m on players so far, according to statistics, with both also bringing in a considerable amount in sales, meaning their net spend column is looking healthy.
In fourth place is Birmingham City, with a spent of £9.3m while they have also moved a handful of players on.
Then in fifth is Albion, who have shelled out £7.2m which could rise on the current deals, depending on clauses being met.
There is a real different between Albion and those sat just above them though. Albion have spent money on just three players, while the majority of those above them in the table have made more than five signings.
Elsewhere, Swansea City, Derby and Millwall have all made over £5m worth of signings so far - but there are a number of clubs who are yet to spend a penny in the transfer window.
Charlton, Middlesbrough, Bristol City, Oxford, Leicester, Portsmouth and Sheffield Wednesday are all yet to pay out a transfer fee.
In total, Championship clubs combined have spent just shy of £90m on new talent so far, with just under six weeks left of the transfer window.
It looks unlikely that clubs will reach the level of spending from last summer with around £238m spent across the transfer window. In the 2024 summer window, Albion spent around £4m on new signings.
