West Brom's current strongest XI with more business left to do in the transfer market
Ryan Mason has slowly building his Albion side - and putting his stamp on the current squad.
We have seen glimpses so far in pre-season of how they may set up and who may feature on the opening weekend against Blackburn Rovers.
There have been two new faces through the door in the former of Nat Phillips and Aune Heggebo, while more are expected before now and the end of the window.
But currently what is the best XI at Mason's disposal?
We may get a further glimpse of how they may set up for the season opener, when they welcome Rayo Vallecano for the final pre-season outing on August 2.
For Mason, there is an easy choice in goal as Josh Griffiths is the clear number one.
As explained last week, a decision comes at the heart of defence. Torbjorn Heggem and then alongside him it has to be Nat Phillips.
