Stacey faced a three-way battle for runners-up spot and pipped Kyle Ryde to the post at the end of an enthralling duel.

The 20-year-old had started the weekend in style by completing the first practice session top of the timesheets with a commanding lap of 1:37.168s.

Later that afternoon, Stacey delivered once again in qualification after flocking in a lap of 1:36.860 to secure the second fastest time overall - just 0.925 seconds behind British Superbike Championship rider Ryde.

The following day, Stacey immediately slotted into second at Turn One and made a bold move on series regular Nikki Coates to take the lead during the opening lap.

Stacey and Coates constantly swapped positions amid a rollercoaster battle, but Stacey dug deep in the closing stages to snatch victory in the final lap.

He then crowned that success by earning a hard-fought second-place finish in the Main Event on Sunday.

The rising British star will be in action when he resumes British Championship Superbike duties in Round 5 at Brands Hatch on July 26-27.
