Darts round-up: Jake Robinson edges gripping Black Country Superleague final

Soccer Zone B's Jake Robinson cliched the Black Country Superleague Series 3 after defeating Jason Lowe 4-2 in a gripping final.

Robinson had edged to a 4-3 win over Andy Garrett in a tough semi-finals, while Series 1 and 2 winner Lowe defeated Shane Price 4-1. 

Matt Coleman, Rob Pierce, Steve Gilliam and Wayne Hobday all fell at the quarter-final stage. 

Tettenhall Wednesday League leaders Junction B returned to winning ways with a 5-2 success over McGhees courtesy of wins from Martin Price, Richard Newey, Callum Parkes, Paul Bromley and Phil Mayo. 

Joint-second Dog & Partridge B enjoyed a resounding 6-1 triumph over Swan Compton thanks to James Frumenzi, Mike Matthews, Connor Lucas, Mark Frumenzi, Jaydee Matthews and Craig Locker. 

Mick Baker, Liam Baker, Neil Baugh, Dave Rowsell and Sean Flynn did the damage as Codsall Bull condemned Charlie's Bar to a 5-2 defeat. 

In the Wolverhampton Tuesday League, Gilberts A claimed a first win of the season by beating Woodfield 4-3 through Steve Lynch, JJ Rowley, Jamie Webb and Chris Hill. 

Pheasant came from behind in dramatic style to end Wednesfield Legion's unbeaten run with a 4-3 victory courtesy of Dave Aker, Terry Hales, Aaron Fahey and Bobby Lowe. 

Dog & Patridge B continued their unbeaten campaign with a 5-2 success over Gilberts B, as Paul Lucas, Mark Frumenzi, Nath Jones, Tony Durnall and Mike Matthews swept up wins. 

Coseley Friday League Group A leaders The Royal enjoyed a 5-2 triumph over Lower Gornal, with Jason Morris, Ash Wilkinson and Scott Billingham among the winners. 

Elsewhere, Lanesfield eased to a 6-1 demolition of Hurst Hill, Wednesfield B crushed Allen's B in Group B and Allens A conquered Grapes 5-2. 

Glassy Junction beat Newcomers Royal Tigers 4-0 in the Wednesfield Sunday Cup first round with wins from Glen McGrandle, Ryan Bourne, Craig Carey and Sid Bourne. Dan Walton, Kev Bell, Reece Evans and Rob Pitt helped Ashmore A beat Tuns B 4-2.

Dog & Partridge tasted success in the West Midlands Super League Handicap Cup for consecutive seasons after beating Kings Head 3-2.
