Released West Brom youngster who made senior bow in FA Cup hunting National League contract
A host of released Albion youngsters let go at the end of the season are on the hunt for new clubs.
As well as three senior players, Albion let go a raft of youngsters including the likes of Fenton Heard, Reece Hall and Josh Shaw.
Others such as Ted Cann were also let go - and he has since bagged himself an EFL move.
A number of other youngsters also departed the club - and one of the above names has re-appeared on the radar as he looks for a new club ahead of the season.
Defender Shaw, who hails from Manchester, signed his first professional deal with Albion in July 2022, and excelled with the club's under 18 and PL2 sides.
He then made his professional debut, back in January 2024 against non-league Aldershot in a 4-1 victory.
Shaw spent a lot of his time at Albion in and around the first team squad, before going out in February this year for his first real taste of senior action.
He headed to National League North side Marine on a short term loan deal, before returning to Albion.
But his time at the club came to an end this summer - as he and a host of others were let go by the club.
However, he has popped back up on the radar as he looks to nail down a professional deal.
In recent weeks, it has been revealed that Shaw has been featuring on trial with non-league side Rochdale.
The former long serving EFL club are looking to recover from a difficult few years and reclaim their place in the Football League.
Elsewhere, there has been no sign yet of young attacker Heard, who was well thought of at Albion.
His future was ip in the air, but he penned a one year deal with the club that kept him going until his release this summer.
