West Brom midfielder's words outline why Albion made correct Ryan Mason call
Eyebrows were raised over the patience and length of time it took for Albion to appoint Ryan Mason.
Weeks even months had passed before Albion finally replaced Tony Mowbray with Mason.
The obvious delay was Mason's responsibilities with Tottenham as they went on to win the Europa League.
But it would have been easy for Albion's board to look elsewhere, have someone in earlier, having more time to work and shape their squad ahead of pre-season.
However, they didn't. Aside from loose interest in another candidate, Mason was always their man.
They invested in him, they waited, they got their man.
