Mat Sadler outlines Walsall's long-term vision amid growing spending in League Two

Mat Sadler insists Walsall will approach the transfer market their "own way" amid a growing culture of high-spending in League Two.

MK Dons have completed a number of eye-catching captures this summer while Chesterfield, Gillingham and newly-promoted Oldham have also picked up notable names on the market. 

Sadler recently stated that Walsall are only "midway" through their summer business, but feels their transfer policy will herald many more success stories over the coming years.

'Some teams have ridiculously high budgets'

"We know it's going to be another tough season ahead with some teams with ridiculously high budgets," Sadler claimed. 

"Even last season was challenging for us, but this season even more so when you consider what MK Dons and Chesterfield are doing. 

"All of those guys that are ploughing money into it, but we'll do it our way. We'll try to bring young and hungry players into the club who want to get better.
