Former West Brom playmaker attracting fresh interest as two released players continue new club search
Two of West Brom's released senior players are still searching for new clubs - with one attracting interest England and Scotland.
Albion released Semi Ajayi, Grady Diangana and John Swift following the end of the campaign - with Ajayi quickly penned a deal with Championship rival Hull City.
Currently John Swift is training with the PFA squad - as he looks for a new deal amid links to the likes of Stoke City and Derby County.
And Diangana has not been short of potential suitors, according to reports. Initially, following his release there was interest from Saudi Arabia.
Valencia, managed by ex-Albion boss Carlos Corberan also emerged as a potential interested party.
It was said earlier this summer that Diangana wanted to stay in Europe rather than take up an offer in Saudi Arabia, meaning a move to Valencia could well have been on the cards.
However, there have been two new contender for his signature emerge this week.
Championship side Portsmouth are reportedly monitoring the situation around Diangana - with manager John Mousinho and admirer of the playmaker.
And north of the border, SPL giants Rangers have also been credited with interest in the ex-West Ham man.
