Darts round-up: Dog & Partridge back from the brink in League Knockout Cup
Dog & Partridge B came back from the edge of being knocked out of the Tettenhall Wednesday League Knockout Cup to beat Claregate 8-6.
At 3-0 down, they seemed to be heading out of the cup with a 6-4 aggregate deficit, only to hit back and take the next four games through Alan Marsh, Jaydee Matthews, Pete Pearce and Craig Locker.
Codsall Bull just edged past Junction A with a deciding leg victory, winning 8-6 thanks to Neil Baugh, Dave Smith, Sean Flynn and Dave Rowsell.
McGhees, holding a one-leg advantage, crushed Moreton Arms 6-1 to win 10-4. Charlie Burley, Adam Bolger, Louis Burley, Ryan Bourne, Nathan Jones and Sam Guest did the damage. Leaders Junction B dispatched of Red Lion B 10-4.
Reigning Wolverhampton Tuesday champions Junction B made it consecutive 7-0 victories, defeating Gilberts A as Paul Bromley, Callum Parkes, Paul Price, Dean Fullwood, John Simms, Ryan O’Connor and Jack Aldridge all won.
Three Crowns had a great 4-3 victory at Golden Lion B with wins from Hannah Bradbury, Alex Ives, Ash Barker and Tony Harper, while New Gate had a 4-3 win at Woodfield courtesy of Matt Brooker, Martin Foster, Paul Tonks and Chris Hipkiss.
Allens A moved top of the Black Country Super League by crushing Townsend Social 5-0 courtesy of Jack Aldridge, Ryan O’Connor, Will Beaden, Rich Bowen and Rob Thompson.
Leaders Quarry Bank Libs went down 4-1 to unbeaten Dudley Ex as Phil Tonks, Harry Williams, Jamie Rollinson, Mark Rollinson all won.

Dudley Ex seemed to be heading for their 10th consecutive victory in the West Midlands Super League, going 2-0 up only for Chase Social to hit back and claim a 3-2 win. Roger Harris, Sean Craig and Dan Hands won.
Landywood won a tight 3-2 battle against Gate Inn thanks to Alex Simmons, Doug Cotton and Keith Hollywood, while Hotshots defeated Junction B 4-1 as David Thackeray, Kian Rogers, Scott Baker and Lee Shaw won.
Coseley Friday’s Group A saw Lanesfield defeat The Royal 6-1 thanks to Dan Elcock, Paul Harrison, Gaz Cattermole and Lee Betts.
Wednesfield Cons A lead Group B after crushing Cons’ B team 6-1, with Daz Williams, Ash Khayat, Chris Slater and Wayne Jones all winning.
Parkes Hall topped Group C after winning 5-2 at Hotshots courtesy of Tom Bissell, Harry Williams, Mike Powell and Mark Rollinson.
Group D’s Baggeridge went top after beating Hotshots B 4-3, with Alan Smith, Carl Sparrow, Jordan Preece and Luke Cross doing the damage.
