The veteran, who turns 38 in December, became an instant hit with supporters following his summer arrival in 2024.

Adomah made 54 appearances as the Saddlers reached the League Two play-off final, registering five goals and seven assists.

The former Villa man surpassed 700 club career appearances in September last year and is just one shy of 100 career goals at club level.

The announcement of his contract extension comes just days after Walsall youngster Ronan Maher penned a new two-year deal.

Discussions remain ongoing over new contracts for Sam Hornby, Harry Williams, Priestley Farquharson, Jamille Matt and Douglas James-Taylor.

Liam Gordon turned down a new contract to join local rivals Port Vale in League One earlier this month, while Ryan Stirk did the same, joining fellow League Two side Chesterfield.

Preparations ahead of next season are due to begin next week, with the squad returning for pre-season training on Monday.

Elsewhere, Walsall are reportedly 'leading the race' to sign AFC Bournemouth forward Jonny Stuttle on loan, according to journalist Peter O'Rourke.

A number of League Two and National League clubs are believed to be interested in the young striker, who scored 10 goals in 19 games on loan at Farnborough in the National League South last term.

The 19-year-old also had a temporary stint at Aldershot Town in the National League earlier in the season - scoring twice in eight appearances across all competitions.

Walsall have also been heavily linked with Stevenage frontman Aaron Pressley, who is reported to be closing in on a move to Bescot, as Mat Sadler turns his attentions to strengthening his attack.

In the forward areas, Danny Johnson has already bid farewell to supporters, while loanees Ellis Harrison and Ethan Wheatley have also departed.
