The visitors had been dismissed for 116, with Seb Scott high-scoring with 28 runs from 70 balls. Daniel Walker hit a 25-ball 19 and Llyr Thomas weighed in with 15 runs from 20 balls on a low scoring innings for the Shropshire outfit. 

The remaining run scorers for Shrewsbury were: Dustin Melton (12), Peter Clark (eight), George Hargrave, Will Parton, Harry Darley (six each) and William Jenkins (three).

Eesa Nadeem was the pick of the wicket-takers for Moseley with 4-25 while opening duo Hishaam Khan (2-41) and Yadviner Singh took two wickets apiece. 

Che Simmons and Rob Yates collected the other two wickets as Moseley bowled Shrewsbury all out inside 41.2 overs. 

In response, Shrewsbury started positively, as Dustin Melon took two early wickets before Moseley had even registered a single run.
