Comment: Pace of downfall highlights how much work needs to be done with West Brom squad
The rate of Albion's end of season downfall has been alarming.
A handful of weeks ago, Albion were in the box seat, the play-off driving seat, with much to be optimistic about.
After the early issues under Tony Mowbray, as he looked to change the Carlos Corberan way, there were real green shoots of progress.
But since the international break, those shoots have been snapped and what has happened since has been abysmal.
The defeats to Norwich and Sunderland, although hard to stomach, were at least games that Albion dominated but the final finish let them down.
But at Bristol City, away at Coventry on Friday and then against relegation threatened Derby County, the manner of what was served up was nothing short of a disgrace.
