Comment: West Brom will have to do it the hard way - but it could be a positive
It feels like West Brom are going to have to do it the hard way if they are to get a place in the play-offs come the end of the season.
The draw against Hull leaves Albion sitting in sixth place, level on points with Bristol City but above the Robins on goal difference.
The frustrating fact that they had to share the spoils for the 18th time this season, but like in most of those disappointing results, Albion were left thinking what might have been.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and you can look back and think, what if some of those fine margins were turned into wins. If they did turn some of those into victories, they may be cantering towards the play-offs now.
But it doesn't work like that, the game isn't like that and Albion are where they are, and have had to settle for a point against a Hull side who, although they have struggled this season, have shown they can mix it against the big sides in the division.
