Tony Mowbray's men were comfortably 5-0 to the good by the time the 21-year-old Northern Ireland international midfielder Isaac Price made his entrance, but he still grabbed the opportunity to catch the eye.

The £2.5million signing from Standard Liege is now pushing for a first Baggies start and could make that in Saturday lunchtime's away fixture at Plymouth.

We caught up with Belgian journalist Loïc Woos, who regularly covers Standard, to get some more insight of Albion's first January signing.

1) How did Price do overall in his time in Liege? Was he well liked by the club and fans? How did they feel about his exit?

Loïc WoosIsaac is a very talented player for sure. He came here for free from Everton to discover professional football for the first time. He needed a time to adapt, but then, I think he made some good work here, with a winning goal against Club Brugge as his best moment.
