The Baggies returned from an international break to kickstart a busy six weeks with an entertaining 2-2 draw with Norwich consisting of four first-half goals, leaving boss Carlos Corberan uplifted by improvement in attack.

We look at a couple of talking points in the debrief.

Substitution struggles

It's nothing new this season that Albion have lacked necessary firepower from the squad.

All too often, in several of the many draws this season, Corberan has not had enough impact from the bench. There are too many attackers in the squad who are yet to deliver this term.

The same happened on Saturday. Corberan admitted Albion struggled beyond the time the first wave of subs were made. He insisted that he needed more from the replacements and the other eight players on the pitch, which is fair.
