Wolves

Wolves and Newcastle United are keeping tabs on Bristol City defender Joe Bryan.

The 24-year-old is believed to be available at the right price with Fulham and Middlesbrough also rumoured to be interested.

Derby County reportedly had a £3m offer turned down at the weekend.

West Brom

West Brom continue to be linked with Yeovil’s highly-rated defender Tom James, but they face stiff opposition from other clubs including Swansea and Hull City.

Darren Moore’s side are in pole position for the Cardiff-born full back, who impressed in League Two last season.

The Glovers struggled at the foot of the table, but James netted a clean sweep at their player of the year awards.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has approached West Ham over the possibility of taking Jordan Hugill on loan.

Bruce is said to be a long-term admirer of Hugill and has followed his career closely since he notched a double at Villa Park for Preston 18 months ago.

The Preston forward joined the Hammers under David Moyes in a deal reportedly worth £10million last January.

Walsall

Troy Deeney has been linked with a £15m move to Cardiff City.

With Walsall due 20% of any sell-on clause, the Saddlers could be set for a £3m windfall.

Dean Keates is desperately trying to bring in new recruits before the season kicks-off on Saturday vs Plymouth.
