Scott Hall will keep order at Walsall FC
A Hall of Fame professional wrestler will be the star of the show when grapplers take to the stage at Walsall Football Club.
Bone-bending will be the order of the evening in the Stadium Suite at the home of the Saddlers on Friday October 28,
Walsall born-and-bred promoter Matt Powell brings his Pro Wrestling Live organisation to the Banks's with a special guest.
American alumni Scott Hall, who was inducted into WWE's Class of 2014, is one of sports entertainment's controversial yet successful figures.
He shot to fame in the old World Wrestling Federation under the persona of 'Razor Ramon,' first debuting in 1992.
Over the next four years, he headlined pay-per-views and won the Intercontinental title on four separate occasions.
He also established a reputation as a capable in-ring performer, for efforts such as his Wrestlemania X ladder match against Shawn Michaels.
At the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York, his tussle with Michaels was named Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine's Match of the Year for 1994.
He also formed in the infamous 'Kliq,' a wrestlers union of the time with Michaels, Kevin Nash, Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman and Triple H. At one time, he was one of their highest-paid performers.
He switched sides for a mega-money contract with the now-defunct WCW in 1996 where he, best friend Nash and the legendary Hulk Hogan formed the New World Order faction.
Billed as invaders sent to take over the company, the storyline stunned fans with how real to life it appeared to be and was the industry's smash hit until they disbanded in 1999.
The trio took the gimmick to the WWF in 2002, but Hall was released within months amid allegations he was suffering from serious problems with alcohol.
Those issues looked to plague him in the ensuing years, having already gone through numerous flashpoints and run-ins with the law.
He continued to compete, mainly for the renamed WWE's rival Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, up until 2010 and has since retired.
He seems to be on top of his personal demons, with friends claiming he's sober and in better health, having gone under the knife for a much-needed hip replacement.
He last appeared at Wrestlemania in 2015 where he, Nash and Hogan engaged in a ringside melee as the NWO while Triple H was battling WCW hero Sting.
He does have an assignment to complete at the Banks's, too, and will serve as the ringside enforcer for the card's main event.
Mad Dog Maxx - Powell's alter ego - will take on former ITV World of Sport favourite Bob 'Blondie' Barratt, with Hall on hand to ensure Barratt's tag team partner Keith Myatt doesn't interfere.
Hall, aged 57 and currently living in Atlanta, Georgia, will also rub shoulders with fans before the show takes place at a meet and greet.
An additional £10 per person on top of the ticket price secures entry and includes a photo and autograph, from 6pm until the action begins at 8pm.
Tickets are available to pre-order now at £15 VIP, £8 standard with a family of four pass for £30. For more information, call 07404 279 880.
