WOLVES

Birmingham City, Derby County and Wolvesare in a three-way race to sign former West Bromwich Albion striker Victor Anichebe.

The 28-year-old forward is currently a free agent after the Baggies opted against renewing his contract and it is believed that he would be willing to drop down a level in order to revive his injury-ridden career.

WEST BROM

Albion are keen on Charlton's Jordan Cousins after new technical director Nick Hammond was seen scouting the midfielder during the Addicks' friendly at Welling.

ASTON VILLA

Everton are eyeing a move for Villa target Sebastien Haller after opening talks with the France Under-21 international.

The Toffees are readying a move for the 22-year-old Frenchman as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the season.

Villa have rejected a second bid from Celtic for winger Scott Sinclair.

Sinclair, now 27, is wanted by former boss Brendan Rodgers.

The pair worked together at Swansea and helped the club gain promotion from the Championship to the Premier League in 2011.

WALSALL

Leeds United are interested in signing Walsall starlet Rico Henry should the expected departure of Charlie Taylor take place.

Current left-back Taylor is likely to leave the club in the near future, and has stalled on signing on a new deal with Premier League sides such as Burnley interested. However, owner Massimo Cellino is trying his best to refuse the 22-year-old's exit.
