We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Part of the Wolves takeover rumours has linked Inigo Idiakez to arriving at Molineux as the assistant to prospective new boss Julen Lopetegui.

Idiakez is currently working as a lead youth development coach at Premier League champions Leicester City, mainly working with the under-16 group.

The 42-year-old, who holds a UEFA Pro Licence, is keen to step back up to coaching at first-team level, though, and could be offered two opportunities.

He previously served as No 2 to his former Derby County boss George Burley at Cypriot outfit Apollon Limassol and could land the same role at Wolves.

Championship rivals Derby want him back as well, though, to work alongside new chief Nigel Pearson and his right-hand man Chris Powell.

WEST BROM

West Brom and Stoke City have reached a stalemate over their valuation of striker Saido Berahino, but the Potters haven't given up on the deal.

Stoke haven't budged on their £16million estimate of Berahino's worth, but are willing to pay the 22-year-old a whopping £70,000-a-week wages.

Albion would like more than £20m for the player, though, because of the new inflated Premier League TV deal. Stoke should eventually cave in.

ASTON VILLA

Released Aston Villa flop Charles N'Zogbia could have found an unlikely route to stay in the Premier League after joining up with Sunderland for training.

The 30-year-old was shown the door at Villa Park at the end of last season, after five years with the club, having made just two appearances for them in 2015-16.

The £9.5million buy from Wigan has now joined up with the Black Cats, having played under manager Sam Allardyce at Newcastle United. A contract could be in the offing, too.

WALSALL

Walsall have told Championship side Barnsley to more than double their offer if they wish to stand any chance of enticing star striker Tom Bradshaw away from the Banks's Stadium.

The Saddlers forward, who has scored 20 goals in each of the last two seasons, is known to be interesting a host of clubs throughout the Football League.

The Tykes have made a £400,000 offer that was promptly rejected by the Walsall board, who will start listening when offers reach around the £900,000 mark.

Rotherham are also keen on the 23-year-old but are yet to make a bid while Nottingham Forest, Reading and Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers are believed to be monitoring his situation.
