Boss Dave Stringer has boosted his side with the arrivals of Mitchell Piggon, Lee Miveld, Mattias Curley and Josh Ruff.

Piggon, a 26-year-old striker, scored against the Scholars for Daventry in a 2-1 win at the beginning of this year and was most recently at Rugby Town.

Miveld, 35, made over 200 appearances for Coalville Town and played for Shepshed Dynamo last term.

Curley joins from Rugby Town and Ruff from Nuneaton Griff, where he played an integral part in their run to the FA Vase quarter final last season.

Also, Stan Mugisha, Danny Edwards, Michael Williams, Simon Brown, Curtis Pond, Jon Haynes and Nicholas Turton have all agreed to stay at the Scholars Ground.

James Dance is to be given the captain's armband, but Rhys Thompson and George Washbourne have moved on.
