FA Cup draw: Wolves travel to West Ham while Albion get Bristol City
Wolves will travel to Premier League side West Ham in the FA Cup third round – while Albion host Championship outfit Bristol City.
And Walsall have potentially been handed an early reunion with former boss Dean Smith after being drawn away at Brentford.
The Saddlers must first beat Chesterfield in a replay at Banks's Stadium next week after Saturday's second-round tie finished 1-1.
It will be Wolves' last trip to Upton Park before West Ham move to the Olympic Stadium next year. They last played the Hammers in the FA Cup in the fourth round in 2004, losing 3-1 at Molineux.
Slaven Bilic has guided them to sixth in the table after making an impressive start since taking over in the summer.
Albion's last two home games against Bristol City, currently managed by Steve Cotterill and struggling in 21st place, both ended in 4-1 Championship victories in 2007 and 2009.
Villa have been handed a potential banana skin away at League Two side Wycombe Wanderers.
And Blues host Premier League side Bournemouth, who beat them 8-0 at St Andrew's last season.
