Pics replay is set for next Tuesday
Rushall Olympic will now take on Leamington in their FA Trophy second qualifying round replay next Tuesday following the late postponement of the match earlier this week.
Referee Ian Dudley called the game off just minutes before getting under way due to extremely windy conditions and it was
anticipated that the replay would be staged on Saturday, but that has now been revised in favour of next Tuesday.
Dales Lane was not a safe environment for fans, players or officials to be in last night as fences had to be tied on with rope and corner flags looked as though they would be blown across the pitch at any moment.
The Pics will feel aggrieved the tie has made it to a replay as videos from Saturday's first game clearly show a Leamington defender handle on the line to keep out a Jack Duggan header which Rushall argued was already over the line anyway. The winners will host Hednesford Town in the next round.
