We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves and League One high-fliers Burton Albion apparently lead the chase to bring in Ivan Toney on loan from Newcastle United.

The 19-year-old has made one Premier League appearance since joining the Magpies from League Two outfit Northampton Town in August.

But Toney has featured in the Capital One Cup and impressed for the club's Under-21 team, with boss Steve McLaren keen for him to kick on.

Wolves came close to landing the teenage striker last November, but a £500,000 move broke down due to a problem with his medical.

WEST BROM

West Brom could have to pay £14.8million to bring Spain midfielder Ignacio Camacho to the Hawthorns in the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Atletico Madrid, joined Malaga in 2011 and has a release clause in his contract.

Camacho, who played alongside club-record signing Salomon Rondon for two years at his current club, has already spoken of the interest.

He said: "It's always good that things like that are heard, but I have a contract and I'm happy here. If ever a team comes (to buy me), it will have to be good for everyone.

"These things do not bother me, but it's good that you are thinking about your future every so often."

ASTON VILLA

New Aston Villa manager Remi Garde could make Iceland Under-21 midfielder Arnor Ingvi Traustason his first signing for the club.

The 22-year-old has just helped Swedish side Norrkoping claim their first title since 1992, chipping in with seven goals in 29 games.

Villa have been tracking the player for a while, but Premier League cohorts Bournemouth are also keen and are ready to make a move.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
