Transfer Rumours - June 15
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest transfer gossip.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Wolves look like they will be missing out on the signing of Dwight Gayle who is instead set to join newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth.
Wolves will make a second bid for Cardiff's Joe Mason in excess of £1.5 million.
Middlesbrough striker Kike could be on Wolves' radar should they miss out on their main targets.
WEST BROM
New Newcastle manager Steve McClaren is reportedly interested in signing Saido Berahino.
Tottenham and Liverpool are also both keen on the striker and he could cost anyone up to £20m.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis is reported to be keen on taking left-back Tyrone Mings to the Hawthorns this summer.
Ipswich have put a £6 million price tag on the 22-year-old but the club are in no hurry to sell.
Albion have joined the race to sign Marseille defender Rod Fanni on a free transfer.
Should Saido Berahino be sold, Tony Pulis will turn his attention to Patrick Bamford who could be available for £8million.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood is reportedly eyeing a move for Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone this summer.
Huddlestone worked with Sherwood during his time coaching at Tottenham Hotspur and the England international is believed to be firmly on the West Midlands club's radar.
Aston Villa are apparently looking at bringing in Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy to help bolster their attack.
The Foxes are looking for £15 million for Vardy, who only managed to score five times in thirty-four league appearances last year.
WALSALL
Local press in Huddersfield are reporting that Walsall and Coventry are interested in Huddersfield midfielder Oscar Gobern.
Gobern was born in Birmingham and started his career as a youth product at Aston Villa before moving to Southampton in 2008.
Gobern played twenty times for the Saints as they gained promotion from League 1 before moving on loan to MK Dons and then a permanent switch to Huddersfield in 2011.
