Transfer Rumours - May 11
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Wolves are apparently one of five English clubs looking to bring wanted Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci back to the country this summer.
The 23-year-old moved over here to join Portsmouth when he was just 15, spending four years at Fratton Park before heading overseas.
The Turkey youth international then headed home for a spell with Kayserispor, before heading to Holland to turn out for Breda.
He moved to Scottish outfit Dundee in 2013 and has since scored 23 goals in 64 appearances for the Terrors, with 14 strikes for the club this season.
That has attracted the attention of Wolves, Queens Park Rangers, Charlton, Huddersfield and Rotherham, plus Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic.
WEST BROM-ASTON VILLA
West Brom could be plotting a shock move to bring former loan misfit Scott Sinclair back to the Hawthorns, from under the noses of Aston Villa.
The 26-year-old endured a disappointing season-long stint at the Hawthorns in 2013-14, making just eight appearances for the club.
But the Manchester City wide man has impressed for Villa since they borrowed him in January, but Jack Grealish is starting to emerge for the claret and blues in the same position
City are willing to sell for £2.5million and will deal with the first taker, with Sinclair likely to base himself in Birmingham of either move comes off.
WALSALL
Walsall manager Dean Smith is thought to be on a shortlist should Paul Cook, as expected, leaves Chesterfield to take over as boss of Portsmouth.
Smith, who was also recently linked to relegated Championship side Millwall, has been identified as a potential replacement for the Spireites.
